Meet Dawn…
In 2019, I decided I wanted to help prevent people from getting sick because up until that point, I had spent my life qualifying in everything from nursing to education, with therapies such as massage therapy in the middle. Through nursing, I got to see people who wished that they had done more earlier but, in reality, couldn’t find a trainer or fitness expert that they could relate to.
Through my own experience, I found it difficult for a woman 50+ years old to get good, scientific fitness advice from someone who had lived with the problems. Finding a trainer who was 20 years old, had no life experience, and was still focused on beach bodies and parties (and so they should be!) was not a problem. I wanted less love island and more empathy for what I was going through.
The journey to build my product meant learning about the body, the brain, research and a whole lot of other things I knew from nursing but now needed to know from a fitness perspective. It means I am ready to help women over 50 who value fitness and need a reliable, caring woman to help them. My years in education help me to help my clients understand what they are doing and why they are doing it, and my fitness journey means I can deliver this in a way that is fun, caring, and considerate of your time, body and other things that are happening in your life!
I am also a Mum, Nana, Runner, Dog Mum, Reader, Sudoku Champ (race me?), tea drinking regular person who can’t wait to meet you and hear your stories .
